FMCSA Compliance Workshops – Fall 2017 Series

Presented by the Virginia Trucking Association, (VTA) in conjunction with Nationwide Testing Association, Inc.,(NTA) the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Field Office, Richmond VA and the Virginia State Police – Motor Carrier Safety Team (VSPMCST). Special Guest – Susan B. Owen and Jaime Espitia, US Department of Labor/OSHA (DOL)

In continuing to keep our members and the Virginia trucking community properly trained and educated with up to date information regarding  FMCSA Compliance, we are pleased to offer a series of FMCSA Compliance Workshops this upcoming fall.   A bonus this year is special guest speakers, Susan B.Owen, Regional Investigator  and Jaime  Espitia, Regional Supervisory Investigator, with the US Department of Labor/OSHA who will be speaking on the impact of the OSHA Whistleblower Act.  The workshops will be hosted  in October/November 2017 at various locations throughout the state.

These workshops are designed to equip the motor carrier with the necessary knowledge and tools to both implement and/or maintain a compliant safety program. They are also designed for the seasoned safety professional seeking up to the minute information regarding the current FMCSR regulatory environment.
